Hike into the White Mountain National Forest from our backyard, or enjoy hiking to the numerous waterfalls in Crawford Notch or off the Kangamangus Highway located nearby.

Visit during the fall for the magnificant foliage through the notch and on Mount Washington or come in the summer and splash in the local waterholes.

We just got back to Ottawa and wanted to drop you a little note. We all had the most fantastic whirlwind visit and holiday. Weather was fantastic and we managed to fit in a great hike in the White Mountains as well as shopping in N. Conway. Sadly we didn't have enough time to enjoy more of your beautiful state! The Abenaki house was outstanding and really fit our needs. Everyone was very happy with the house and its amenities - we would come back in a New York minute.
